Wednesday

My first Wednesday off in ages! Bit of a restless night after yesterday's news.

Beth's goat had 2 billy kids on Saturday. Beth delivered them and it wasn't easy. Most breeders only show females so these two will not be named. I've resisted cuddling them because they are destined for the table.  Florence says we should have them for keeping the brambles at bay in the cutting.  

Mark and Tim both dropped in looking for coffee and chat. It was lovely sitting in the garden with them.  Clive says this is what retirement is like. I am tempted!
