Did some prepping in the guest bedroom today- mainly pulling old wooden blocks off the wall which had been nailed on and getting rid of all the old internet and phone wires and connection boxes. There are now lots of holes to be filled in. I had intended to decorate this myself but realised that I would much rather be doing other stuff on my to- do lists and as it’s likely we will be selling the ‘little house’ in the summer I decided to get John back to sort it. He is busy until 23 May but have decided to wait until then and have booked him to do the guest bedroom and the sitting room. Su and I were supposed to be starting upholstery classes this morning but tutor has covid so I went over for lunch. She is knee deep in packing boxes- the house had got very cluttered and there are lofts and cellars which apparently were all full! Moving date is now provisionally mid May. Here is Lulu the cat - maybe the mother of a new kitten or two for me. She isn’t pregnant yet though
