Visiting Ann

My old friend, Ann, has just bought a cabin, at Mangskog, toalett hours drive right west of us, in Värmland. She took over the house, last week, with all furnitures, nice old items, a lot of decoration stuff, canned food and even wine ;)
We had a walk down to the lake called Grässmangen, swedish "fika" as you see at the table and lamb for dinner. Unfortunatly Dag wasn't able to follow, since he still without energy.
Fika is often translated as "a coffee and cake break", which is kind of correct, but really it is much more than that.
Fika is a concept, a state of mind, an attitude and an important part of Swedish culture. Many Swedes consider that it is almost essential to make time for fika every day. It means making time for friends and colleagues to share a cup of coffee (or tea) and a little something to eat.
