Disaster averted!

I was working in Glasgow today and decided to write up my report at home, so arrived back mid afternoon to find a drama unfolding in the Common Green. Police had cordoned off the area and the crews of two fire engines were busy at work. Couldn't resist parking and going to see what was going on. It turned out some masonry had toppled alerting passers by to the fact that a huge and potentially lethal piece of stone mantel was precariously loose. Scotland's finest were called and saved the day by securing the offending piece of mantel, as you can see in the top window. No-one was injured, I am happy to report!
