Blossom

This is a columnar tree that I bought in 1992 when my dad died as he loved them, so it's 30 years old now and is still beautiful. When you pass it you can hear the honey bees buzzing away all day, and the smell is like almond blossom. This huge bumble bee was so busy flitting from flower to flower I couldn't get a clear picture of it.

I have been clearing some nettles this afternoon, potting on the sunflowers and sowing some more. Then chopping up boxes as the green bin is emptied Tuesday so thought it a good time to fill it with the unwanted cardboard boxes, we seem to accumulate.
Paula has been tidying the garage.

Another really pleasant day warm enough to work in but not too hot.

It's been a very productive Easter at our house.
