Busy

I had a nice bath and hair wash this morning before A came to cut my hair at 12pm. She took off quite a bit at the front and it's a bit shorter than I'd like, but I suppose I shouldn't complain. 

Stupid kitchen window which has been temperamental for weeks, just refused to shut, despite me trying to slam it, which has worked up until now. After A left, I tried again, then phoned my mum, who told me to phone the site team.... I hoped my dad would come with a screwdriver and work magic, but he said to ask someone who knows what they're doing...

Half an hour later a very nice man from the site team came, with his screwdriver, and fiddled about with it. He ended up having to get someone to help him, and a set of steps, and together they pushed it up from outside, while I shut it. Having made it secure, we agreed that this was good enough until the glaziers are on site and can come and adjust it properly. I think I'll need to chase them next week....

I went to mum's to relax and see Little B. Shelle and Lucy came for a bit, and then I had to leave at 5:30 to go to my placement. I was running late (as usual) but stopped off at Waitrose to get some flowers for Hannah's birthday on Sunday. I chose her a nice card while I was in Farnham yesterday. 

Good sessions with my clients and a natter on the way home, and then gave the flowers to a surprised Hannah! I prefer giving gifts than receiving them I think.
