Golf Course

We had a pleasant walk this afternoon across the disused golf course, enjoying more warm, sunny weather.   In the middle of this scene you can spot the pill box which I featured in an earlier blip.

On another note, why do people dump mattresses by the roadside (see extra).  This is near the footpath under the railway bridge.  It must have taken some effort to transport the mattress to this point, so why not 150 yards down the road to the council recycling centre?
