Blackford

Another busy day!

We always go to Blackford for rolling the eggs on Easter Sunday. Even last year we went but it was just the four of us and the weather was fab then too.Cameron was getting a driving lesson with his dad who has got some box that goes into his own car.

We had such a laugh up the hill. The eggs were practically indestructible so there were lots of uphill treks and downhill runs. We had a snack and some water and off we went back to the car.

Heard a guy playing in the bowling club so went to look amd the lady dragged us in to have some bowling as it was open day and they had some kids bowls and adults too with targets. Laura and I also had a go along with Ben who did well. I should be good as my grandpa was champion bowler for the club in the 50s, and mum and dad were keen bowlers too. Dad also worked behind the bar when he retired. It was good to be back there.

What a great day we had. I never bother with an egg and I’m off chocolate for months now anyway. Made a delicious recipe with lemon sole and veg for the tea - so simple yet dam good!
