(Easter) Monday

Florence returned home to London quite early. She had plans with friends this afternoon. It was lovely to have her home for a few days.

I spent most of today gardening. Debbie treated Hetty to a dog chocolate Easter egg and Hetty could not believe her luck! Lily, Debbie's JR, was then handed over the fence for a play. This is an almost daily event now. Sometimes Hetty goes round there but she's too heavy to lift over the fence.

Later, I walked the Caen Hill flight with Hetty. The cafe at the top of the locks was very busy but this Heron was unperturbed and fished with an audience. The Heron are quite bold round here.
