Windblown daffs

Some days seem to come and go without achieving a lot - today just happened to be one of those. Well, perhaps not completely without achievement: more like not achieving anything of real substance. There's always tomorrow!

Regular showers halted further progress outside and the wind picked up as the day progressed. It has been a strange year so far. We have the feeling that the season is about three weeks behind where it was last year. But, on checking similar photos from past years to this one, it seems not unusual that the daffodils are still here. So, perhaps last year was the odd one out! If so, the bluebells should be out in a couple of weeks.
