Tragedy In Place of Triumph

This is horrendous! But I'm telling you nar lass, this will never put an end to the spirit of sportsmanship, camaraderie and heroism! I'm still running on Sunday!!!

I was amazed at the depth of this gentleman's reaction to yesterday's event..

At least three people were killed and more than 100 injured by the blasts near the finish of Monday's US event...

The Boston Marathon is one of, if not, the world's oldest annual marathon that began in April 1897, held always on Patriot's Day, hosted by several cities in eastern Massachusetts.
Yesterday's event on today's papers are deeply shocking and upsetting, not only to those directly involved, but to the whole world.. Instead of the triumph, accomplishment and jubilation associated with marathons, it all ended in tragedy and loss.. Our thoughts are with all those who have been affected.
