Tropical mood

We've now lived in the sub-tropics for two and a half years and are slowly adjusting to a new kind of gardening experience. We bought this potted hibiscus plant a month ago and transferred it to a larger pot. It's produced its first flower already. The label calls it Hibiscus 'Linda Pearl'. I now appreciate that warm-climate gardeners can become besotted with such plants.
