The Pool….

Maisie and I had company on our early walk this morning. Two lads from next door and another lad visiting from Christchurch joined us at 6.30am to walk the Taylor River tracks. Maisie was very excited as she loves young men. We had a great walk to the Burleigh Bridge and back. We stopped by this lovely clear pool adjacent to the footbridge. It a popular swimming hole in hot weather. Once back in Purkiss Street we collected free Feijoas. Folk are leaving them in containers by their gates for folk to help themselves. The lads filled a shopping bag…. There are so many Feijoas around at the moment. Our lads’s bagful was taken to Christchurch by his family members later this morning.
