The Colour Purple

Daylight savings ended in my part of the world last weekend and on Monday morning my son Adam started back at school after his Easter break.

For Adam to catch the first of the two buses he needs to catch to get to school each day, we have to get him out of bed no later than just after 6 am each morning, and I have to admit, I'm doing battle myself getting up that early.

I nodded off last night before I had published my blip, so have added a back blip of one of my beautiful Camellia flowers. I love Camellias, they are quite an old fashioned flower, but that's probably why I like them!

This week, I'm trying out a new routine, which includes not going onto the computer before I have finished all of the chores for the day on my to-do list. The list is at least a mile long too, as I'm still catching up on a number of neglected chores, neglected due to long hours spent working for a number of months.

Blip was dreadfully neglected during that time and I have managed to catch up on adding all of my back blips, although there are still a few things I need to attend to here. Now I'm giving my blog some badly needed attention and spent some time today taking photos of The Colour Purple, which is the latest post I have added in what I intend being a series on The Psychology of Colours.

My blip today is one of the photos I took for my blog post. It is such a simple picture, one that I found at a second hand shop about a year ago. I love the very delicate shades of lilac which make it a very calm picture to look at.

So, it's now close to 10.30 pm, so off to bed I go....hopefully I'll have more energy next week!
