Today Sargent Best raced at Motukarara. This is a lovely country course set under a hillside. The top image is just after they entered the home straight. Sarge is furthest to the left in light blue starting a big run down the outside. The lower image is the finish. He is on the outside getting beaten by a head. That is now 9 placings in his 14 starts. The bank balance is healthy but surely he must get his first win soon. Apologies for the poor images. They are taken from a race replay on my computer screen.
