Majestic

Mount Rainier was visible today, though partly concealed by clouds, so I thought you would enjoy another photo of its beauty.

I didn't go to see the family today because I'm feeling so weak.  I was afraid I wouldn't be able to climb the stairs to the main level.  So I'm missing out on Twinsday, though I'm glad I got to see everyone on Friday.

My nephrologist's nurse has been trying to get in touch with the medical oncologist overseeing my care in order to find out if she would approve of my getting the erythropoietin injections (not usually given to cancer patients) to deal with my anemia, but no one has returned her calls.  That's really frustrating because I need them so I don't feel increasingly weak as my treatment goes on.  I've spoken about this to everyone I've been dealing with at SCCA; tomorrow I'm going to ask the nurse navigator why nothing is happening with this.  It just adds to my stress.

It's forecast to be raining all week, so Doug and Alexis will be taking me to my appointment most days.  The shorter the distance I have to walk from the car to the entrance, the better I'll feel.
