He Is Risen!

Our Easter service was filled with many blessings!  Before the service even started we were blessed by glorious  music played by the  Joy Ringers  handbell group that helped to set the tone and prepare our hearts for worship and praise.  The choir, orchestra and all our various accompanists began the service with a joyous anthem, followed by the sweet blessing of baptism made even sweeter by the fact that a father was baptizing one of his own daughters and she was very enthusiastic about the baptism!  After that, the congregation continued the praise and worship, followed by the choir which had one more special song to sing before Pastor Wes came and spoke to us from Isaiah 53:1-12 regarding the fulfillment of Messianic prophecies in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus, how He suffered every bit of Hell so that every person who has ever been born can be forgiven of the sin that would eternally separate us from God.  But that forgiveness is only activated when we recognize that we are sinners and that Jesus is the only One who can help us, because He is the only One who has defeated  sin and death and hell and rose on the third day as He said He would do!  I invite you to watch the Live-stream and share in the joy of this special day.  He is risen!  He is risen, indeed!
