Skyward

I'm not quite sure what happened here. I was out for an early evening run as a pre-cursor to going out for a curry with Dan, who has arrived home from university. It was such a lovely, sunny evening, and I stopped to take a photo, but on my first effort, my phone cast a shadow on the lower part of my face. I think for this second attempt, I was somehow trying to lift my head out of the way and ended up looking into the sky.

Anyway, once I was home and showered, Dan and I walked down into town for our curry. I actually think it might be the first time I've been this year - Abi does not share our enthusiasm - and I found myself greeting the owners like long-lost friends.

The food was as great as ever, though, as was Dan's company, and we stopped off in the King's Arms on the way home for a couple more drinks.
