Brimstone

A butterfly not often seen in these parts, currently this one is the most northly sighting recorded in the iNaturalist database.

A day of garden maintenance, and the first mow of the year, then a walk at Sunbiggin Tarn where the wood anemones were looking fabulous. Was supposed to be studying, but it was too nice. Oh well. There's always next week.
