Visiting ringers

We had a group of ringers come over from the UK to ring a peal this weekend. Unfortunately, 10 minutes from the end of the marathon 5,000 changes which normally take around 2 1/2 hours, one of them fainted! Fortunately he is ok but of course, the peal failed. This morning they returned to ring before and after the Sunday service which I was leading. We had around 40 people instead of our usual 10 and some visiting children. There was an Easter egg hunt at the end so the children went away very happy. In the afternoon, I played tennis with a new partner. It was rather hot but a good game nonetheless.
