Easter Sunday

And it has dawned a beautiful one but I am not fooled by the sunshine.  Highs today will not get above 45F.  It was 28F when I got up.  I don't envy those who attended the sunrise service at the West Farm in town this morning.  There was always an Easter Lily of two at our house and, of course, the beautiful Easter baskets filled with chocolate bunnies and cream eggs left by the Easter bunny which we couldn't touch until after church.  I always had a new outfit with matching hat and shoes for the day.  Last night we would have been coloring eggs for the bunny to hide.  We had to buy special white eggs at Easter because local eggs were brown.  We ate egg salad for days!   Then, most likely, we would drive to Auntie's house in Brighton for Easter dinner.  (extra) Happy Easter, Happy Easter memories!
