Immortality

Lots of persistent rain overnight but with the dawn came bright clear sunlight, its early beams slanting low through the wet garden.

My eye was caught by the translucent brightness of this Nasturtium as the sun's rays highlighted its simple beauty. Thank goodness for cameras - allowing us to immortalise such fleeting moments.
