Family outing

Our plan for a visit to the local mini golf course in Ventura this morning seemed like a very good idea. Even Don thought it would be a painless few hours helping out with his neighbors’s kids. After some tearful breakdowns, several tantrums, repeated attempts at hacking a golf ball over the castle and a failed effort at finding some consolation in the “bumping cars” we cut the trip short and went for lunch. Nevertheless at the end of day, the best thing that happened today according to the kids was the mini golf with Don.
