Sew nearly summer

An impromptu rearranging of the furniture in the sitting room this afternoon. It's nice to have a change.

However this reorganisation brought the patchwork sofa right next to the patterned curtains and they really didn't look good together. So tonight I got out the sewing machine and put together some new curtains. They are light, plain and summery* and look much better next to the patchwork.

*today the haa was in competition with the sun and the sun didn't really get much of a look in but surely warmer days will soon be here.
