Gin and sun

Walk before breakfast and pick up paper. Few jobs and walked along the river to the coffee shop and back along the top path.
Nice and warm. Some gardening after lunch and then we sat in the garden and had a g&t. Sun shining and lovely and warm.
Daughter called to let us know she is in hospital as her blood pressure is too high so they have put her on medication and keeping her in for at least 24 hours for observation. Due date next week. So worrying. We are heading home in the morning, not that we can do anything as only her partner can visit, but we will be around to help if required and if she is allowed home.
