RAD, Nails, Dinner and Jazz

Today I gave my first poster presentation; it was nerve racking just ever so slightly. My poster is seen here closest to the angle at the end. It was a great experience; I'm really grateful that I got this opportunity.

Went to lunch with my favorite newly engaged couple and had a "housewife" afternoon with Pilar afterward getting a mani/pedi.

Doug took me out for a surprise date night as a belated birthday present too. We went to Aventino's for dinner then Scat Jazz Lounge in Sundance Square, which was an amazing experience! Highly recommended if ever given the chance to go! Afterward, we retreated home and watched Life of Pi. I'm still working out some if its scenes... but it was a great film! I seriously have a wonderful husband, I don't know what I did in life to have him :)

All in all, one heck of a great day!
