Excitement on the Canal

It’s been a beautiful day – I’ve done some gardening, changed the bed, dried ALL the washing and finally had a wonderful canal side walk.  The Mallards are pairing up*  the new Cob Swan was in feisty mode (blip),  Jacky (Jackdaw) * pinched the Muscovy’s lunch and then we came across the Christian Fellowship Narrowboat offering free hot cross buns and an invitation to choose a colour which represented HOPE to you and then to do a few strokes with your colour on the painting* Such a lovely idea and there were many marks made by passing walkers.  I chose yellow and daubed a bit here and there and Mr HB chose a lovely shade of blue and painted two bluebirds.  Tomorrow, ArtyJ will transform all those marks with a finished painting of her own on top – Something to do with Easter of course.
