sweet violets

Growing in their usual place at the edge of the lawn under the apple tree. Always a joy to see them every spring. I almost finished the curtains for the front bay window today - just got the hooks to put on and the hems to do. Had a wander round the garden looking for a blip. Lots of seeds coming up in the greenhouse and it looks as though I’ll have to repot my tomato seedlings tomorrow as they’re getting big now. Got a couple of trays of really old seeds coming up - broccoli and Virginian stock. It said on the back of the packets to plant before the end of 2003 and 2006..!
