Apt

An unhatched egg from one of last year's nests in Moo's garden. Thought it was apt for the Easter weekend :-)

Down at my mum's for a few days. I met my brother's new partner, she's lovely. She has a phobia of wasps/bees, exactly like I am with house spiders. I'm not joking, I've never had to put as many wasps and bees out of the house as I had to do yesterday! Just had to put a huge wasp out as I was typing this! :'D They don't bother me at all, in fact I like them, but hoping there's not a nest as they freak Holly out too. I suspect she's been stung by one in the past.

Looking forward to the Snooker World Championships. It's special to me because it's at the Crucible in Sheffield and my dad used to go most years back in the 70s/80s. I remember watching it on the telly hoping to see him in the audience. He was there the infamous year when Cliff Thorburn and Terry Griffiths played into the small hours. He got home about 4am! Hehe.
