Birding at the Slough
We gave our new binoculars a good workout today at the Columbia Slough between the golf course and the waste water treatment plant. Even with a bit of rain and cool temperatures, we had a great time. Saw so many birds, identifying about a dozen. I really appreciated being able to see them so clearly, but to photograph them? Afraid I’m not set up for that. A few of the birds: Spotted Towhee, Kingfisher, Hooded Merganser, and Green-winged Teal.
Extra: Birding from a bridge.
