A Good Cut

A lovely day - quite a bit of it spent in the garden. These flowers belong to an Epimedium, one of my favourites at this time of year. It’s a good foliage groundcover plant most of the time, but if the leaves are cut back in late March, these lovely flowers and fresh leaves can be seen emerging a few weeks later.
