Marsh Marigold

Caltha palustris

A rather small piece of sunshine on this wonderful warm and golden day.  However, I was on Hazel-walking duty so birding was out and this seemed appropriate as the marsh marigolds have been flowering now for about 10 days and in the river valley they are everywhere.
