Rear end

Hadn't slept at all well and D's alarm went off at 05:45 anyway. So a rather subdued day - did some marking, trying out a different method ahead of yet another OU 'improvement' that's coming up, and played some music. On my way back from the recycling bins I thought to check out the moorhen's gaff - and there she was, brooding some quite large chicks. Looked slightly uncomfortable. Think I saw at least three poking their beaks out. Under her left breast is the rear end of one of them who couldn't quite fit underneath!
