Art (?!)

How different is this to what I normally post, and you wouldn't believe where it is either!!

Met up with fellow-blipper Tigbmp today! She came all the way to see us and spend a few hours. We had a fab time in our Lodge, drinking coffee and chatting LOTS! Then went over to Guildford Cathedral for lunch at the Refectory before visiting the building.

The sun unfortunately was covered by clouds for the time we were in there! :( Walked around and were alerted to some works of art (all on sale) which lined the sides. This one caught my eye as I couldn't believe what it's made of... see it close-up.

I can't tell you much about it except it is part of a program off "The Big Issue" where works of art produced by prisoners is being displayed/sold. This one is made by someone called Dena and it required over 200 colour pencils to be sharpened over several hours before this piece could commence. Cool eh?!

The quote below the picture was on the opposite side of the cathedral and I've done a cut & paste job.
