Yet more signs of Spring

Today, on a road verge near my office, I spotted my first clump of coltsfoot for this year. Coltsfoot, scientific name Tussilago farfara, is a relatively early Spring flower but I think it is probably a bit late this year, given our extended tail of winter temperatures. But a very bonny find nevertheless. And this on a day when I also saw my first housemartin and ants of the year.
