Hope
Hope, that in all that seems lost,
we might find.
Hope, that in that which seems so dark
we may see light.
Hope, that when the effect seems so base,
so utterly unworthy of humanity,
our core might rise with hope.
The inhumanity of the news coming from Boston shakes me to my core. I ran in an event a week ago and will do so again in 2 weeks. The point is that so many runners do this for others, fur some amazing charity. They hurt their own physical body to raise hope for others. In turn those who watch give of their time to cheer the runners, to give them hope in what they do. Why target these true heroes? Whoever perpetrated these dark deeds do so to feed terror on those who seek to bring hope. Shame on them.
