Dangling Hubs

Hubs off out at 06.00 to go on a major caving mission to Harwoods Hole, apparently its the biggest hole in the earth in the southern hemisphere! This is the start of a 180 m free abseil drop and then leads to hours/ days/ weeks?? of tunnels and caves, holes etc. Rich went down first and took this shot on my behalf...no girls invited on this trip.
Spent the morning getting Stan together for the Hobbit trip, cooked and then went for coffee with the Golden Bay midwives. We swapped stories, working conditions, emergency proceedures and I got lots of helpful tips for my new self employed midwifery career. A very satisfactory afternoon, plus I had a cuddle with their gorgeous Burmese cat! Carol is planning on retiring in Sept next year and wants me to take over......its given me even more to think about!

A happy, buzzing, battered and exhausted husband come home late and filthy. Fed, given beer and bath.
