Just Call Me Swayback
Up too early to meet Kristen. Her three children had 7:30 dentist appointments and she had an early meeting at work. They were hungry afterwards so I got them each breakfast sandwiches. Sky gave me the address to her friend’s house and we headed to the northern most part of our county. She is going camping with her friend’s family for the weekend. When we got there, she realized that was the wrong address. So, we got the correct one and we headed south west to the other side of the county. That girl! This terribly swaybacked horse belongs to Sky’s friend. It has nice markings but made me hurt just looking at her. When I took Sky’s siblings home, Kristen had leftovers for our lunch and dinner since they are also going away for the weekend. There wasn’t a lot of physical activity in my morning but the stress wore me out. Hubby put down mulch and cut grass so he was tired as well. We ate a quick bite and napped for an hour. I did one load of laundry. Then it was time to load the car, work on pre-trip cleaning, take care of Mancil’s dog Trek and attend 7:00 pm Mass. We got home at 9:30 pm and we’re very hungry. Hate eating this late. Thanks for stopping by. We really have heard no news today but we prayed at Mass for an Easter cease fire in Ukraine. “The essential joy of being with horses is that it brings us in contact with the rare elements of grace, beauty, spirit and freedom.” - Sharon Ralls Lemon
