We had a nice lunch by the mere in Ellesmere with mum. Then me and Andrea had a meeting with mums accountant to try and get a handle on her finances. We're not there yet but it feels important to prepare and be able to support her going forward. I found the whole thing really depressing, talking about wills and nursing homes etc. Whatever happens it's really important for transparency and for us all to make decisions together and understand everything so there's no falling out. All I really care about is that Mum is well looked after. 

Needed some retail therapy afterwards so we popped to the lovely book shop in town for a browse. Then it was time to head home. Missed Mike and the dogs and my nice cosy house m the farmhouse is freezing!!
