Snuggled up

A great day for wandering about the lower areas of Edinburgh Zoo …..it’s quite a climb up to high enclosures so that adventure  will have to wait for another day when we will use the free transport up to the top.

I don’t think I have ever seen such a large family of Short-Clawed Otters. The youngsters were clambering over each other to find the most comfortable position just the way puppies do.

The Gentoo and Rockhopper Penguins were on their stony nests so there wasn’t the usual activity in the Penguin pool.
The Pelicans were at their most active today with lots of wing flapping and beak snapping.
