Spring. It's trying to arrive.

It snowed this morning, and after it stopped I noticed so many birds in the yard, tree, and just standing in the street. Robins, Red winged Blackbirds, Black Capped Chickadees. I think they are confused by the persistent winter weather. I have never seen a bunch of birds standing in the street, it was weird.  

Today I am getting my second booster shot. I had been on the fence, but after listening to a podcast by Dr. Michael Osterholm who is an epidemiologist,  (Director of the Center for Infectious Disease Research and Policy at the University of Minnesota) I scheduled an appointment. I have followed him since the pandemic began and he's been right about mostly everything and he's trustworthy.  I was worried about the timing since my first booster was at the end of November, but listening to him reassured me that is was ok to get number two. I  have had a crush on the dude for years too, he's so dam* smart!!
