Smallest Baby Bouquetin …
…. from last year has survived the winter. Now the grass is beginning to grow and I probably won’t see the Mums and their offspring for a while as my relatively easy access from the télécabine closes on Sunday till the Summer holidays by which time the next batch of babies will have been born. Bouquetin have babies once every two years only.
Extra…
A lovely surprise when I got to the top of a lift today. Andrew, one of my old students, who tragically has been paraplegic since he dived into the wrong end of a swimming pool when he was 19, was there with his “Handiskier”Sledge Driver and his carer. When he was at school he was the top skier so it was poignant to see him still “skiing”. Now he runs his own company providing care for people like himself. He is always so positive and full of life when he is here visiting his Mum. He really is an inspiration.
