Last day of the holidays... waaaa!
A very nice day though. We had church in the morning, which was really good. Then Mum and Dad went to a BBQ taster session to try the food for the people we have booked for Bethany's wedding! Unfortunately, they only had 2 tickets so Nathanael and I couldn't go. However, after church Dan announced that they were doing a BBQ in the back garden so we stayed to that. Quite a few of the youngsters stayed (including Anna, Grace and Sarah) and so it was really good to be able to spend the afternoon together - despite the fact that I couldn't have the food (being a gluten - free gal!) and so I ended up having a really random lunch:
- Marmalade sandwich (Petra who lives at 153 is also gluten free so I borrowed some of her bread)
- Salad
- Onions (that would go in with a burger!)
- Worcester sauce crisps (YUCK!)
- A slice of burger cheese and
- A mars bar ice-cream!!!
We stayed there for quite a while and got a lift home in Dan's snazzy new car!
