Warton Crag

Very nice first day in England. We went for lunch at the Blossom Bird in Silverdale. Funny, my boyfriend at the time, many years ago lived at this address! Very nice and good value. I got dropped off at the bottom of the Crag Road, and walked over the Occupation Road, over Warton Crag. It was so beautiful up there between the limestone and blackthorn blossom, stayed nice and fresh, but there was a good Fresh wind blowing.
I walked down into Warton, through Millhead, did a bit of shopping in Carnforth, then walked on the canal back to Bolton-le-Sands. It was about 9km, and I thoroughly enjoyed it.
