Upside down...

...kinda day. False alarms, misunderstandings, but on the plus side had lunch in town with friend S after her hospital check. Last week she was very unwell with a raging infection in the broken collarbone (not the tissue) but it seems to be responding to antibiotics. Don't know why they didn't give her an injection of antibiotics at the time of the plating operation - I had one when they screwed my leg together ("if you get an infection you could lose your leg"). I hate to think what you could lose with an infection near your neck. Nice lunch in John Lewis and a festive atmosphere in the sunny streets, with many buskers, musical or inverted...
