The New Inn

We had a lovely walk alongside the River Avon from our camper van site to the center of Salisbury. Once there we wandered around the outdoor market and other shops, stopping for coffee and later had lunch at The New Inn, which is a listed building and had lots of character. One of the features is a beautiful walled garden with a view of the cathedral spire, which is behind David in the photo. We had a delicious homemade pie of chicken, ham hock and leek.
Its great being back in this city!
