Lots of Little Beauty
We planted these miniature tulips in 2020, as part of planting up the boulder bed. Last year (see extra here) we had a scattering. This year we have an abundance.
Yesterday, they were all buds. Today, when I went for a wander around lunchtime, I discovered that they had burst into flower overnight. Also yesterday, I noticed that there were lots of buds on the Iris pumila Knick Knack (last year it had just three). Today, one of the flowers has opened. And the Erythronium buds are also starting to open - the plants clearly know it is warmer.
