Croy
Tuesday's Ramblers walk started and ended at Auchinstarry Marina. (You can just see it at the right edge of the photo.)
We followed the Forth and Clyde Canal for a bit before following the path network at Nethercroy and walking up to the Silvanus sculpture (extra). From there we headed up Croy Hill, along the route of the Antonine Wall and the site of a Roman fort, before descending back to our start-point.
Today's main Blip (posted a day late) shows some of us at Croy Hill with Bar Hill in Twechar, also on the Antonine Wall and site of another Roman fort), ahead of us. We didn't walk that way today but is often part of our programme.
