Once was Pink…..

This is one of the hydrangeas growing in our garden. They have morphed from a pretty pink colour into bright greens with touches of magenta and purple. We have had a fine day but with a strong, cold southeast wind. I was feeling tired from gardening activities over the last few days so Maisie and I had a sleep-in this morning and missed our early walk.
We feel for the folk in the Gisborne area. The remnants of Cyclon Fili are hitting them hard with torrential rains and gale-force winds. We hope the weather is kinder to them tomorrow.
