Crooked Creek

Boulder Beach Lagoon disappeared recently. I blipped it in March and September last year. The very heavy rain over the last month raised the water level so much that it eroded a huge gap in the rocky barrier that had created the lagoon. That is the gap through which the creek now flows to the sea. I wonder how long it will take for the ocean to rebuild the barrier? Many  locals have been out to marvel at the changed landscape, just like the two in my photo.
